Kendra is a Registered Social Worker who holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Calgary, where she specialized in Clinical Trauma-Informed Practice. Prior to completing her graduate degree, she earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lakehead University. She works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
Kendra is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and has a particular interest in mindfulness and attachment-informed approaches. Her work is grounded in helping clients build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills and deepen their understanding of themselves.
For over ten years, Kendra has supported children, youth, and adults across a variety of settings, including hospital social work, residential treatment programs, crisis response services, and family counselling. These diverse experiences have shaped her ability to meet clients with empathy during both acute crises and longer-term healing journeys.
